Athletics Training
for Children and Young People
Sport is a passion that shapes the future
I am an athletics coach with many years of experience working with young people, and a former athlete who has transformed his competitive career into a mission to promote sport amongst the next generation. I believe that properly led sporting sessions are not merely physical training, but above all the building of character, discipline and self-confidence for life.
Over years of work, I have come to understand that every child holds within them a potential that, with the right approach, can be developed in extraordinary ways. My coaching philosophy is built on combining professional preparation with the joy of movement, because sport should first and foremost bring satisfaction, and only then shape positive habits and routines.
Training for Children (Ages 6–10)
radość z ruchu to podstawa sportowej przyszłości
I have worked with children for years and I know that the key to development is play combined with movement. At this age, it is not about records or results — it is about falling in love with physical activity for life. I run sessions in small groups, where children develop coordination, fitness and confidence, free from pressure and comparison.
What I teach the youngest:
- Fundamental movement skills through play
- Coordination and balance through engaging exercises
- Teamwork and the principles of fair play
- The joy of every step of progress, however small
At every session, children run, jump and throw, gradually building their fitness and strength. I introduce elements of all athletics disciplines in the form of games and competitions, allowing young athletes to discover their natural abilities.
I want sport to be associated, from the earliest age, with joy, success and a sense of community.
Training for Ages 11–18 – Preparation for Competitive Sport
building the foundations of championship
For athletes aged 11–18, I provide both general development and specialist training that lays the foundation for entering competitive sport. This is a period in which a young person makes their first serious decisions about their sporting future. I work on physical preparation as well as mental readiness — so that young athletes are equipped for competition at national and international level.
My approach includes:
- Individual tailoring of training to each athlete's abilities and goals
- Systematic development of sporting form with respect for stages of growth
- Teaching correct technique in specialist disciplines
- Mental preparation for competition and managing pressure
- Support in planning a sporting career
What sets my work apart:
- Comprehensive preparation covering all aspects of training
- Continuous monitoring of progress and adjustment of training plans
- Collaboration with parents in fostering the right attitudes
- Preparation for competitions at various levels
- Support in balancing a sporting career with education
This is not just training — it is the building of character, resilience and discipline.
Every athlete I work with receives not only professional technical and physical preparation, but also support in developing qualities that will serve them throughout life: perseverance, responsibility, the ability to set goals and the determination to pursue them.
